MUSI 296 - Upper Division Required Performance Credit(s): 0
Prerequisite(s): MUSI 195 and instructor’s consent. All majors pursuing a B.M. or B.M.E. degree must successfully complete all sections of the Upper Division Requirement Performance in order to attain upper-division standing in music. The performance is administered at the end of each semester and held at the University of Montana campus. This course may be repeated for a total of eight times. Students receiving financial aid or veteren benefits should check with the Financial Aid Office before repeating this course. (Intermittently)
Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to - Demonstrate through a public performance the necessary skills and preparation to proceed to upper division courses.
- Verbally provide information that shows understanding of the historical context and understanding of their performance pieces during the public performance.
