EGEN 290 - Undergraduate Research Credit(s): 1
Prerequisite(s): instructor’s consent. This course consists of undergraduate research under the supervision of a full-time faculty member. This course may be repeated for a total of ten credits. Students receiving financial aid or veteran’s benefits should check with the Financial Aid Office before repeating this course. (Intermittently)
Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to - Understand the principles of scientific investigation.
- Demonstrate appropriate use of sources of information in electronic and print formats.
- Develop an appropriate research questions and/or hypothesis.
- Conduct a literature review or laboratory/field/theoretical study on a topic in engineering.
- Communicate an understanding of the topic investigated in written and/or oral form.
