Prerequisite(s): ACTG 101 or equivalent. This course provides a step-by-step introduction to the terminology, concepts, and techniques used in QuickBooks Pro. It is designed for computer users who want a basic understanding of the capabilities of QuickBooks Pro and covers journal entries, customer and vendor activities, payroll, and closing activities for both serviced-based and merchandising-based businesses. (All Semesters)
Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to - Set up a company on QuickBooks Pro Work with lists, including customers, vendors, and employees.
- Complete payroll transactions.
- Complete customer and vendor activities, including jobs, invoices, receiving money, purchase orders and bills. Generate reports as needed for companies.
