WLDG 280 - Weld Testing Certification Credit(s): 4
Prerequisite(s): WLDG 122 , WLDG 210 . This course is an advanced study of pipe welding using SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW including electrode selection, equipment setup, and shop safety. This course will emphasize the 5G and 6G welding positions using E6010 and E7018 electrodes, along with plumbing, squaring, and fabricating steel test pipes. This course may be repeated for a total of 16 credits. Students receiving financial aid or veteran benefits should check with the Financial Aid Office before repeating this course. (All Semesters)
