WLDG 122 - Welding Theory III Practical Credit(s): 4
Prerequisite(s): WLDG 100 , WLDG 111 or instructor’s consent. This is an introductory course that presents the care and use of flux core arc welding (FCAW) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). The course presents various techniques of welding mild steel and medium steel. The mechanical properties of metals and types of joints are discussed in relation to FCAW and GTAW techniques.
