The course emphasizes teamwork, sequencing, and coordination to meet industry standards and developing strong written and oral communication. (Fall and Spring Semesters)

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to

Manage all phases of a construction project by effectively employing introductory project management tools and techniques for planning, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, tracking resources and costs, and reporting progress.
Demonstrate construction-based leadership and communication by delegating safety and human relations functions, applying advanced problem-solving, and communicating effectively, both written and orally, with project stakeholders.
Execute multi-phase construction tasks by selecting and utilizing appropriate tools and materials to complete work to industry performance standards while maintaining quality control constraints.
