Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to

Utilize foundational acting techniques and media (voice, body, text) to create and express an original or scripted performance.
Apply basic design principles and techniques to create an original theatrical design (e.g., set, costume, light) that explores a specific theme or text.
Analyze, critique, and construct meanings from dramatic works and live performances, using the language and terminology of theatre.
Examine how theatre from diverse cultures and historical periods explores the nature of human experience and reflects social or cultural issues.
