 This course is an introduction to reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. (Fall Semester)
 
 Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to
 
 Introduce and describe self and others.  Recognize basic information and questions including the time, clothing, colors, school items, house items, weather, family members and prepositions.  Ask and answer basic questions using the present indicative.  Express likes, dislikes and preferences Describe their environment, family and friends.  Summarize daily routines and activities.  Tell others what to do using formal imperatives.  Compare cultural practices of Spanish-speaking countries with their own.  Recognize their worth and responsibility in others’ learning as well as their own.
