Prerequisite(s): ELCT 250 . This is an advanced course in programmable controllers that emphasizes programming circuits using relay type instructions, timers, counters, data manipulation, arithmetic functions, and other advanced techniques. (Spring Semester)
Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to - Program a variety of timers.
- Operate analog input/output devices.
- Apply programmable controller networking basics.
- Install and configure PLC programming software.
- Program a human machine interface (HMI) used in machine control.
