Prerequisite(s): completion of 30 semester credits with a grade point average of 2.0 or better. Submission of an internship application. This course offers a supervised, structured learning experience at an approved business/organization. Students will receive training related to their field of study, enhance their academic learning, and gain exposure to the workplace. (All Semesters)
Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to - Write a clear resume following acceptable rules of grammar and usage.
- Identify a minimum of four potential employers within their field of study and successfully interview for a job.
- Write measurable learning goals and objectives in conjunction with their site supervisor and internship instructor and make progress toward accomplishing those objectives.
- Self-evaluate and gain feedback on job performance.
