CAPP 118 - Short Courses: MS Access

This course is intended to help develop the skills necessary to work with databases. Topics include creating tables, queries, forms, and reports. Microsoft’s Access for Windows will be used as the teaching tool. (Intermittently)

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to

Identify the uses for a database.
Design and create a database structure.
Create, save, and modify database records.
Add, delete, and rename fields.
Create queries to search for information.
Create a form to view, edit and add records.
Design and create custom reports.
