 Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to
 
 Describe the etiology of infectious diseases. Utilize the principles of pathogenesis. Recognize the principles of treatment, control, and prevention of diseases. Recognize the principles of immunology. Recognize and characterize the most common communicable diseases. Perform basic laboratory procedures. Demonstrate the ability to use valid methods for reaching supportable conclusions.
