Prerequisite(s): BIOB 160 or Biology Department’s consent. A survey of the major categories of living organisms including study of their structure, adaptations, evolution, and ecology. (Spring Semester)
Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to - Identify the major categories of living things.
- Explain the structure and adaptations of representative organisms.
- Descriminate between the origin and classification of the major categories of organisms.
- Demonstrate and weigh knowledge of basic ecological principles.
- Apply an appropriate deductive reasoning framework for the subject.
