AHXR 295 - Radiographic Clinical: III Credit(s): 6
Prerequisite(s): AHXR 195y . This course rotates students through various preassigned shifts and clinical sites. Experience is gained by performing exams under the supervision of staff technologists during early morning, midday, late evening, and weekend shifts. Sites are multiple and varied providing the students with diversity in patient conditions and types of exams. (Summer Semester)
Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to
- Take responsibility for all aspects of the radiographic procedures.
- Work independently and as part of the radiology team.
- Modify technical variables and routines based on changing conditions.
- Apply all theory, concepts, skills and safety practices applicable to radiology.
