A presentation of the techniques, skills, and limitations of the modern crime laboratory, including ancillary services, this course covers topics such as crime scene processing, pathology, anthropology, odontology, types of physical evidence, trace evidence (glass, soil, hair, paint), impression evidence (tools, tires, shoes, bite marks, serial numbers), friction ridge examination, firearms, and questioned documents.
