Transfer Articulation Agreement
Students completing the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees at FVCC will be granted 60 semester credits toward a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at the University of Montana (UM) and will transfer to UM with junior standing so long as they meet the requirements of this agreement. Students who graduate with an Associate of Arts degree from FVCC will have satisfied the lower division general education requirements at UM. Courses being transferred must have a grade of C- or higher in order to be utilized in this transfer agreement. Once matriculated at the University of Montana, FVCC students maintaining continuous enrollment under this agreement will be afforded the same treatment and protection as other UM students. Upon transfer, students will need to complete 30 credits and will be prepared to pursue the following degree options: - Bachelor of Arts in Theatre or Theatre Education
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting for Film and Theatre
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Technology
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance

- To qualify under this transfer agreement students must
- Graduate from FVCC with an Associate of Arts degree or at least 12 transferable theatre credits; and
- Transfer with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 higher.
- Students who meet the criteria of this agreement are guaranteed the follwing:
- Junior status upon transfer to UM; and
- Waivers for THTR 103 and First-Year Seminar.
- Individual course equivalencies from FVCC to UM as follows: THTR120 = THTR 220; THTR 121 = THTR 221; THTR 205 = THTR 107; THTR 203 = THTR 207.
