NRSG 244 - Adult Nursing II Credit(s): 3
Prerequisite(s): BIOH 211 , NRSG 234 , NRSG 235 , NRSG 236 , NRSG 237 , and NRSG 256 . Corequisite(s): NRSG 245 . This course builds upon previous knowledge of the nursing process and care of the patient experiencing acute and chronic disease alterations. Pathophysiologic processes are discussed as related to evidence-based nursing interventions. Students apply the nursing process, nutritional therapy, and pharmacological therapy utilizing interdisciplinary practice to promote, maintain, and restore health across the adult lifespan. (Fall and Spring Semester)
