This course covers concepts of spatial thinking and understanding spatial relationships and interaction in the natural and built environment. Additional topics include spatial data principles, data models, relational database concepts, contemporary digital cartography, map design and composition, spatial data conversion, and introduction to spatial analysis and synthesis.
