FT 140 - Precision Rifle Building Credit(s): 3
Prerequisite(s): MCH 132 and acceptance into the Firearms Technologies program, or instructor’s consent. This course is a study of the theory and concepts of advanced accuracy procedures. The focus is the diagnosis of accuracy problems and optimization of the firearm for best accuracy. There will be a variety of procedures and modifications studied, ranging from stock bedding to machining actions. Examples of topics are machining techniques, sighting systems, trigger systems, ammunition quality, and shooting techniques. (Spring Semester)
