BIOB 260NL - Cellular and Molecular Biology

Prerequisite(s): BIOB 160  or Biology Department’s consent.
This course is an introduction to the biology of the cell, and includes the nature of organization of the cell, growth, basic bioenergetic and enzyme function, cell environment, membrane structure and function, the chemical and physical mechanisms of metabolism in plants and animals, and the work performed by cells.
