BGEN 298 - Internship Credit(s): 3
Prerequisite(s): completion of 30 semester credits with a grade point average of 2.0 or better. Submission of an internship application. This course offers a supervised, structured learning experience at an approved business/organization. Students experience the selection process, receive training related to their field of study, enhance their academic learning, and gain exposure to the workplace. Students apply theoretical classroom concepts to real-world workplace issues. Typically, a student completes 45 hours on-site per one lecture credit. Additionally, students participate in activities and class time beyond the hours spent at the job site. (All Semesters)
