ARTZ 211 - Drawing I: Life Drawing Credit(s): 3
Prerequisite(s): ARTZ 105 . This is a course designed for the more advanced student. It is expected that prospective students will understand and be capable of demonstrating basic techniques and applications of media. The course is committed to the drawing of the human figure. The first sessions are dedicated to the physiology of the body, the skeletal structure first and then the muscular organization. It is a course aimed at encouraging the student to develop his or her own way of assimilating previous drafting knowledge with the intricacies of the human form. This course may be repeated for a total of nine credits. Students receiving financial aid or veteran’s benefits should check with the Financial Aid Office before repeating this course. (Fall and Spring Semesters)
