AHMA 298 - Medical Assisting Externship

Credit(s): 4

Prerequisite(s): a grade of “B-” (2.7) or above in AHMA 203 , AHMA 204 , AHMA 206 , AHMA 230 , and instructor’s consent.
This is the capstone course for the Medical Assistant program and is designed to provide on-site clinical experience in a physician’s office or a clinic setting.  It provides opportunities to apply learned skills in various clinical and administrative procedures under the supervision of a medical doctor and office staff. (Summer Semester)
