This class can be taken in conjunction with approved summer technical theatre employment at Big Fork Summer Theatre. (Intermittently)

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to

Demonstrate competence in one or more areas of technical theatre, including, but not limited to:
Scenic construction and rigging
Lighting design and implementation
Sound design and operation
Costume construction and maintenance
Properties design and construction
Stage management
Read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, plots, and cue sheets.
Contribute positively to a collaborative and creative work environment.
Adhere to industry-standard safety practices and regulations.
Explain how technical elements contribute to the overall aesthetic and dramatic impact of a performance.
