M 021 - Co-req Support for M 121 College Algebra

Prerequisite(s): appropriate placement test score, a grade of “C-” or better in M 095~, or MathDepartment consent.
Corequisite(s): M 121.
This course provides support in achieving the M121 learning outcomes. This support will be provided through extra instruction of basic algebraic concepts at the beginning of the semester as well as a more detailed and in depth look at M121 topics throughout the semester. (Fall and Spring Semesters)

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to

Apply arithmetic concepts to college algebra topics.
Use introductory algebraic techniques to simplify expressions and solve equations.
Write functions using proper notation.
