This course consists of undergraduate research under the supervision of a faculty member. (Intermittently)

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to

Understand the principles of research;
Demonstrate appropriate use of sources of information in electronic and print formats;
Develop an appropriate research question and/or hypothesis;
Conduct a literature review or laboratory/field/theoretical study on a topic in communications;
Communicate an understanding of the topic investigated in written and/or oral form.
Demonstrate competence in presenting the topic in a public forum.
