                  ARTJ 250 - Wax Modeling and Casting I  Credit(s): 3
  This course is an introduction to casting tools, techniques, and materials of the professional jeweler/metalsmith. Emphasis will be on the design and production of custom pieces. (Fall Semester)
  Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to  - Perform a variety of waste-mold casting techniques. 
 
- Carve and model wax for custom design. 
 
- Use organic and inorganic materials for casting. 
 
- Express a working knowledge of metallurgy in regards to casting.
