WLDG 122 - Welding Theory III Practical Credit(s): 4
Prerequisite(s): WLDG 100 , WLDG 111 or instructor’s consent. This is an introductory course that presents the care and use of flux core arc welding (FCAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). The course will present various techniques of welding mild steel and medium steel. The mechanical properties of metals and types of joints are discussed in relation to FCAW and SMAW techniques.
