ETEC 245 - Digital Electronics Credit(s): 4
Prerequisite(s): ELCT 110 . This course explores digital electronic circuits and devices that make up a computer system. Topics include binary and hexadecimal number systems, Boolean algebra and digital logic theory, simple logic circuits, combinatorial logic, and sequential logic. Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog interfaces are covered. Includes lab exercises.
Online Option: Students opting to take the lecture portion of this course online should register for ETEC 243 Digital Electronics Lecture and ETEC 244 Digital Electronics Lab . Together, these courses are equivalent to ETEC 245. (Summer Semester)
